Built with curiosity. Refined through practice.

Homelabs, networking, and cloud engineering — documented honestly. A continuous pursuit of technical understanding, from the wire to the cloud.

Focus Areas

What I build

Homelabs

Self-hosted infrastructure built for learning and reliability. Proxmox clusters, containerized services, custom dashboards, and the inevitable late-night troubleshooting.

Networking

VLAN segmentation, routing, firewall rules, and the slow satisfaction of understanding why a packet goes where it goes. Currently working toward CCNA.

Cloud Engineering

Bridging the homelab to the cloud — infrastructure as code, managed services, and deployment workflows that scale beyond the local rack.

Live

Proxmox Cluster

A multi-node virtualization cluster running Proxmox VE, hosting development VMs, LXC containers, and self-hosted services across the homelab.

Docker & Portainer

Containerized service stack managed through Portainer, running across the homelab with custom bridge networks, persistent volumes, and Compose deployments.

Homarr Dashboard

A unified homelab dashboard providing at-a-glance service status, integrations, and system health across all self-hosted infrastructure.

Cloud Infrastructure

Exploring cloud-native architectures, provisioning workflows, and infrastructure-as-code patterns — beginning with Terraform, working toward production-grade deployments.

Learning

Current pursuits

Not courses to complete — territories to understand.

CCNA

Active

Systematic study of routing protocols, switching fundamentals, and network architecture through Cisco certification curriculum.

Microsoft Intune

Active

Endpoint management, device enrollment, compliance policies, and MDM configuration in enterprise environments.

Terraform

Active

Declaring infrastructure as code — provisioning, managing state, and exploring provider ecosystems for cloud and on-premises resources.

Local AI

Ongoing

Running inference locally with Ollama and open-weight models. Exploring what is practically possible on consumer hardware and a homelab stack.
